Lopez Adamari
Lopez, born May 18, 1971 in Humacao, Puerto Rico. At 4' 10", she is proving
that it is talent and not size that matters. Adamari Lopez's career spans over
20 years, when at the age of 7 she made her debut in the novela Maria Eugenia.
The acting bug hit and soon she appeared in several other works Yo Se Que Mentia,
Vivir Para Ti , and Aventurera, most before even hitting her teens, including
an impressive job in a novela with Iris Chacon. Besides
working in Puerto Rican novelas the majority of her early life, Adamari also had
an impressive big screen debut in her native land starring in "Guagua Aerial,"
by director Luis Molina Casanova. In 1995 Adamari was part of the stellar cast
of the Jacobo Morales film, "Linda Sara" (Pretty Sara), co-starring
with Chayanne and Dayanara Torres (Miss Universe 1993). The
Puerto Rican actress who continues to break through internationally recognizes
that Mexico opened the doors for her on that level. She has lived in Mexico for
over four years now and stated in an interview in EL GRAN DIARIO DE MEXICO."[In
Mexico] I have made the best career moves....I am grateful to Televisa and the
opportunity that they have given me, because it is the springboard for Central
and South America." Besides
acting, Adamari also enjoys hosting talk shows, modeling, doing voice overs, dancing
and is the Vidal Sasoon spokes model in Puerto Rico. In 1999, Adamari appeared
in the June/July issue of "People En Espanol" as one of 25 Bellezas
Latinas del 1999 (Beautiful People of '99). |
